Question - I’d like outdoor photos. Do you do them? Answer - Yes. I prefer outdoor graduate portraits because natural light is so special and nature is a very supportive backdrop. Question - How does it work? Answer - You call me and we set up an appointment and choose from some beautiful places to shoot your pictures. If you do not have a particular place in mind, I will meet you at one of my favorite places that will make a good background for you. Question - How long does it take? Answer - Usually one to two hours, depending on the changes of clothes you want and the location, etc. Some sessions are longer/shorter than others, but most all are done within two hours. Question - What should I wear? Answer - Bring one to three changes of your favorite clothes (shirts, tops, jackets, etc.) and/or accessories, (hats, jewelry, props, etc.) Having a choice of color and style will influence how I set you up and give you more variety to choose from. Question - What if I want complete outfit changes? Answer - That’s okay too. Question - How do I know how to pose? Answer - I can help you with that. We can look at other photos that you bring to see what you especially like, or you can look at my web site and if you see something you want, we can go from there. I will help you pose naturally and comfortably. Question - I never take good pictures. Can you make me look good? Answer - Yes. It is my job and my joy to do that for you. It is easy to look good if you relax and surrender to the lens. With the help of natural lighting and poses that you are comfortable in, we can produce some great shots of you.. Question - What if my face is breaking out? I am so embarrassed. Answer - Yes, it can be embarrassing. Drink plenty of pure water, at least one to two quarts per day, and cut out greasy foods, salty and sugary snacks. Skip cheese, milk, and other mucus forming foods. Choose fresh fruits, veggies, and salads, and for a week or two before your appointment. Skin can be greatly improved by just being careful about the diet, and flushing the body with pure water. If it’s still not great, try painting spots with a small fine arts brush dipped in appropriate colored make-up. You can also use a green cover-up stick on red skin spots etc. before you carefully brush on the make-up to neutralize the redness. Don’t worry too much…there’s always Photo Shop to the rescue! Question - How soon do I get the pictures and what will I get? Answer - In about 7-10 days you will get a complete set of color and black and white 4X6 prints of your photos in a negative index album, your negatives, if you want them, and a picture CD. Question - Anything else that I need to know? Answer - I think that covers it, but if you think of something else you want to ask, just give me a call: 360- 446-1448. I’ll be happy to speak with you.. |
